Last week i went back 2 kg to pay my last respect to my ammah (grandmother in chinese i think), Mdm Tan Lay Geok, walaupun aku x brape rpat sgt dgn nenek aku blah mak aku neh, tp she was always kind enough 2 give me angpow everytime i came 2 visit her on new years'.

Rabu mlm tu lps kije, aku, abg aku dgn bapak aku bertolak balik melaka, smpai je melaka kitorang trus gi tempat mayat ammah aku diletakkan sementara utk majlis prayer diorang, then we were ask to wear white shirt and black pants as it was part of their adat. And we were each given a color kain to pin at the hand side. This color kain is for people to know mane satu keluarga ammah aku when they came to visit. Mine was red and blue as it represent cucu.

She past away in her sleep on sunday 5/4/2009 and they (family from my mother side) had the prayer service for a week until the cremation ceremony on thursday 9/4/2009. Utk sesape yg x tau ape benda cremation neh, dia senanye majlis pembakaran mayat, the ceremony was held at bukit jelutong crematorium and then her ashes is place in a chinese temple dekat dgn area umah aku kat gajah berang.

This is the 2nd time i went to a chinese funeral, and 4 me its quite interesting gak la how they do it, sblum neh aku prnah pegi funeral atuk aku tp masa tu aku kecik lagi, so aku x brape nk faham semua'2 benda neh, byk gak la soalan yg aku tye mak aku psl bnda'2 neh semua, y they do this, benda neh utk ape, benda tu utk ape. . .

hmm aku sedih gak tgok mak aku, ntah cane la prasaan mak aku bila mak sndiri died dlm agama lain hmm. . .
